Admiral Companies AlwaysLeading.com
Admiral Movers was founded in March of 1989 by Scott McNelley and George Azar, a prominent Montgomery attorney, as a high-quality; service-minded alternative to sub-par moving services. The goal was to focus on office moving and quality-conscious moving services for residential customers. The story began with one moving van and an old 1976 pick up truck bought from George Azar.
Shortly after incorporating they partnered with a small, but very good van line called American Red Ball based in Indianapolis. Admiral thrived despite Red Ball having little national name recognition.
In a small 7500 square foot facility that was once home to a cotton warehouse and later a local beer distributor, Scott McNelley set out to raise the bar of service excellence for office moving and high-end household moving and storage.
